I loved this place! Everything about it was perfect. No offense to coastal towns, but everywhere you go there is a nautical theme and everything smells like seafood, this place did not smell and there was no nautical themed decor other than the name of it. It was very clean, cozy, comfortable, friendly, and probably the best white macadamia hazelnut latte I have had in my life. I ordered the Jalapeno popper breakfast bagel and it was delicious. I definitely will go back.
Everything about this place was PERFECT! The coffee was exceptional, the staff gave us a warm- friendly welcome each time, & they have THE best tasting coffee! Vegan avocado toast was SO DANG GOOD!!! We also got a bag of roasted beans to bring back home to TX The owner was an absolute gem as well. She gave us a tip on where to see some redwoods & it turned out to be the biggest & best highlight of our entire vacation! Thank you for helping us have such a magickal trip! I can't wait to come back to this adorable town! Update: got back home & made coffee with the beans. HANDS DOWN the BEST tasting coffee I have EVER made at home! So nice to have a piece of the PNW in my cup down here in TX!
If you are looking and hungry for an amazing breakfast, Compass Rose Cafe is a must stop in Brookings, Oregon. The food is so very delicious and very well prepared at a reasonable price. Service was fast and I did not have to wait long. The staff were so friendly and polite. The atmosphere of the cafe was very inviting. It was very comfortable. I stayed after I finished my breakfast and enjoyed drinking my Mocha which was also prepared very well. Everything Compass Rose Cafe puts out is of high quality from the ingredients to the staffing.
My favorite breakfast spot in town! Fantastic coffee every time!! You gotta try that apple butter sandwich, I’ve easily eaten it 100x but if you’re starving...their burritos are literally gigantic!! The owners are the sweetest and care so much about your business!!
